Mill Courtland Community Centre (MCCC) at the Rockway Mennonite Church - January 20th & 21st, 2026

We spent two crisp January evenings gathered in the cozy basement of the beautiful Rockway Mennonite Church, where the Mill-Courtland Community Centre is temporarily operating while their building is under construction. The welcoming space made a perfect winter refuge for weaving, conversation, and community.

We were delighted, and a little surprised, to reconnect with former students, old friends, staff from CAFKA, an enthusiastic youth group, and a wonderful crew of City of Kitchener employees we had woven with over the summer. It was a joyful mix of familiar faces and new connections, and we’re already looking forward to returning for our next willow weaving event in this warm and welcoming space.
